Chugoku Marine Paints was established in 1917 and since then has been manufacturing Heavy duty & Marine coatings and supplying paints to various projects including refineries, petrochemical plants, fertiliser plants, steel plants & power plants around the world. Chugoku marine Paints is part of the famous Mitsubishi group.
Thanks to the rapid economic growth and huge number of ship building in Japan, Chugoku could take initiative and leadership of the heavy duty and marine coatings not only in Japan’s domestic but also in overseas market bearing three guiding principles in mind QUALITY, INNOVATION, & ECOLOGY. In 1997, Chugoku Marine Paints, Japan and Jenson & Nicholson India Ltd; entered into a joint venture by the name Chugoku Jenson & Nicholson Ltd. to market the Chugoku licensed products in India, Bangladesh, Nepal & Bhutan. The registered office is in Calcutta with the head office in Mumbai and field offices in Jamnagar, Chennai & Cochin. The factories are located at Mumbai & Calcutta to manufacture the licensed products. The experienced staff can offer technical and inspection service in the area of high performance coatings, marine coatings and marine freight container coatings. The distribution network of Jenson & Nicholson (I) Ltd. which comprises 33 offices & depots is available to Chugoku Jenson & Nicholson Ltd for effective service to our customers.
