HERBAL PESTICIDES
ANTI-VIRUS, ANTI-MITE, ANTI-NEMATODE, ANTI-FUNGUS
VIREX-H : "The only eco friendly anti virus in the World". It took us 14 years to develop this miraculous product. Virex-H is a eco friendly herb based systemic anti virus prepared from extracts of various herbs found in Shiwalik range of Himalayas. These herbs have been reported to have antivirus properties in Ayurveda. The present concept uprooting and destroying the virus effected plants is totally over ruled by Virex-H. Regular sprays on infected plants helps in taking 30-50% marketable crop from infected plants and checks the spread of virus into healthy ones.
Virex-H is a emulsifable concentrate of herbs highly soluble in water. This water extract is preventive as well as curative in action. Virex-H enters the plant through the stomatal opening and is translocated into the plant system through the vascular bundles.
Mode of Action : Virex-H on entering the effected plant cell encapsulates the viron particles. It reduces the separation of Virus particles in protein and nuclei particles. In the absence of food virus becomes inactive. Virex-H opens up the conductive tissues blocked by the movement of virus particles. The plant cell starts to recover. Since this recovery is slow, to increase its rate good results are obtained from tank mixing with a bio stimulant. Vectors are also to be controlled. In healthy plants Virex-H forms a protective layer under the cuticle and the damaged tissues stopping the entry of virus into the plant system.
Target Crops : Chilies, Okara, Tobacco, Cucerbits, Cotton, Opium, Spices are the main target crops however special emphasis should be paid to opium spices and cash crops.
The doses should be between 550-700 ml per acre. Special emphasis is to be paid on the number of sprays. The present concept of uprooting a virus infected plant can only be overruled by spraying 5 to 6 times during the life time of a crop specially the G.G period. One or two sprays are found of little or no use.
ACAREX-H : It is an eco friendly herbal systemic anti mite developed as the emulsiable water concentrate of herbs. These herbs grow mainly in the Terai region of U.P.. The special features of Acarex-H are that it is the only acarecite with lowest phytotoxicity. Sprays during the flowering stage at double the recommended dose has done no harm. For symptoms like leaf yellowing, burning, deformation or flower drop did not take place. Acarex-H has been currently included in spray schedule of Horticulture Department of Jammu & Kashmir for the control of red and European mite (spotted).
Mode of Action : Acarex-H is systemic in nature and so the results take 4 to 5 days. The mites adhering to the lower surface of the leaves after sucking the sap develop anti fedient properties. Acarex-H attacks the reproductive system of mites regenerating the reproductive cells. The consequences are the adult mites become sterile and multiplication reduces. The gene vigor goes down, Less number of generation come. Acarex-H also interferes with the key molting harmone Ecdysone and control mite.
Target Crops : Tea : Special emphasis as herbal tea is a hot issue of health aware community and spraying traditional acarecite is the biggest hindrance. It is the strongest segment to work on. As far as Acarex-H is concerned because many tea estates have already adopted the cultivation of organic tea and face a great problem in controlling mite by IPM. The other target crops are apple, coffee, chilies, vegetables etc.. While introducing a herbal miticide, care should be taken as how to incorporate it in our spray schedule. Initially 75% dose of Acarex-H and 50% dose of presently used acaracite be tank mixed and sprayed. In the preceding sprays the doses of Acarex-H be increased and the traditional pesticide be lower. This will help in increasing the duration between the consecutive sprays and will reduce phytotoxicity and immunity in mites. The problem faced in introducing neem based pesticides is due to this reason only. The doses are 600-800 ml/acre.
NEMATEX-H : IPM based herbal systemic anti nematode for soil drenching and foilar application. It is a eco-friendly herb based economic anti nematode.
Mode of action : Regulates the host metabolism, opens up the blocked conductive tissues, develops a layer in the cell wall, reducing the movement of the cell sap into the nematode and the passing back up of the esophageal gland secretion into the plant.
Nematex provides vigor to the plant.
Target crops : Mushroom, Brinjal, Tobacco, Cereals.
